Simple walking directions from your ship to our sign outside the port gate. Keep this page available offline before leaving the ship.
Make the most of your port day
Roatán is one of the shortest cruise port stops, so for a full day, get off the ship as soon as the gangway goes down (usually around 9 AM, sometimes earlier). Don’t sleep in — every hour late is time lost on the island.
Walk straight through to the port gate — please don’t stop at the excursion booths.
Vendors between your ship and the gate will call out for your attention. Inside the gate, tours and taxis are heavily marked up: taxis are often $35–40, compared with about $20 per person just outside. Your guide is waiting just outside the gate holding a Roatan Classic Tours sign.
Walk off the pier into the port shopping area. Pass the waterfront shops.
Turn right at Piraña Joe, then turn right before the Tucán Gift Shop.
Follow the covered walkway and port signs for Port Offices, Taxi and Exit.
Walk straight through the excursion pavilion; do not stop at the booths.
Exit through Gate 1. Look for our Roatan Classic Tours sign just outside security.
Look for this sign
Your guide will hold this sign and confirm your booking name before you get in the vehicle.
Good to know: port layouts and staff directions can change. Follow posted port signs and your confirmed meeting instructions. Our Google Maps links mark the general port/gate area; your guide’s sign is the final meeting point to look for.
